New R&B concept in Leuven, co-hosted by DJ Dysfunkshunal
On friday november 7th, make your way to Club Lido in Leuven for the grand opening of R&B Delicious, a new party concept presented by DJ Dysfunkshunal in association with Partyhosts and Club Hacienda. The first edition will feature Killa Tactics alongside DJ Cause, DJ Boety and DJ Logiq.




The Mixfitz
Another chapter in the Killa Tactics story; Damented teams up with longtime homie DJ Jack to found the illest dj duo in years - The Mixfitz. Strictly aiming at dancefloors, The Mixfitz deliver a deadly mashup of hiphop, electro, dancehall, breaks, drum'n'bass, reggae, pop & rock, blended together in a way it's hardly been done. They recently entered the Switch/Silenced dj contest at Studio Brussel and conquered two spots at famous clubs, Silo and Culture Club. The electro/breaks mix they submitted for the contest will be downloadable soon. The first mashup Mixfitz cd is out too, you can always get your hands on a copy at a party near you!

Damented wins DMC Benelux 2008!
Ten years after his first ever dj battle, Damented took home the title of DMC Benelux champion. He'll represent the Benelux at the DMC World Championships in London later this year, which will be his last battle ever. Not a bad way to finish a career..




Shakedown is back!
DJ Dysfunkshunal & DJ Boety continue their urban party concept at Lavinia in Leuven. Starting on 21/06, the Shakedown parties will go down weekly on saturday nights. Academix DJ School
DJ Dysfunkshunal will start giving classes at a professional dj school called ACADEMIX, which is located in Brussels. The ACADEMIX dj school works together with all the major brands in the dj world, who provide the school with the latest and best dj equipment. The ACADEMIX dj school has sound-proof studios where you can practise with top-notch equipment during the lessons, or where you can come to practise or even to record your own mixtapes. ACADEMIX will organise three types of classes: short weekend courses, longer courses and one-day info sessions.

The first course given by DJ Dysfunkshunal will be a one-day info session about digital dj'ing, date & flyer about this session coming soon! Dysfunkshunal will also give a special beat juggle course and several weekend courses this summer.

Akro drops new street album
Akro's new street album "Akro Au Crunk" is now available in the recordstores. Dj Dysfunkshunal produced the track & laced the cuts for "Coupe le Verbe en Deux" featuring Leki. Other guests on the album are James Deano, Shadow Lowee, Veence Hanano, Sharm & Stromae.
